Davis Machine is an ITAR Registered company. We specialize in custom contract work for a broad range of customers. We hold all necessary certifications for the most demanding government work. ITAR Registration is a means to provide the U.S. Government with necessary information on who is involved in certain manufacturing, exporting and brokering activities.
Davis Machine is registered with the United States Department of Defense as an ITAR registered supplier. This allows us to produce products and OEM assemblies for its customers where ITAR regulation management and control are required. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is a set of United States government regulations that control the export and import of defense-related articles and services on the United States Munitions List. These regulations implement the provisions of the Arms Export Control Act, and are described in Title 22 (Foreign Relations), Chapter I (Department of State), Subchapter M of the Code of Federal Regulations. The Department of State interprets and enforces ITAR. Its goal is to safeguard US national security and further US foreign policy objectives.
The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are regulations that govern the export and re-export of certain controlled commodities, services, and, most importantly, technologies. In order to be a ITAR registered machine shop we must follow strict guidelines. The ITAR regulations apply defense articles, a given component, subcomponent, part, assembly, subassembly, or integrated system must have been specifically designed, developed, configured, adapted, or modified for a military application controlled under the United States Munitions List.
